However, a couple of weeks ago I sent him out with the secateurs to prune the ivy along the top of our fence where it was sprouting wildly (and I can't reach it). Half an hour later I went to see what he was doing and found he had completely denuded half of the fence! <BR/>Another time he was frustrated with a pittosporum whose branches were getting tangled in the clothesline so he took to it with a hacksaw -- and "pruned" a C-shaped hole in one side (around the clothesline).<BR/>On both occasions I couldn't help bursting into tears when I saw his handiwork.beche-la-merhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16168782094157404020noreply@blogger.com
